Day 61

I like making the homemade versions of things, mainly because I am cheap. I saw this pin while looking for a home made carpet stain remover.  It looked easy and would allow me to freshen up the house a little. I got out the backing soda and the essential oils and found that I liked the Lavender smell the best. I sprinkled it on the carpet and let it sit for about 20 minutes and then vacuumed it up. It smelled good and I thought we had found a nice way to freshen up our one room of carpet every once and a while. I did not tell Christina about it and waited to see if she noticed. I vacuumed about 15 minutes before she came home and she did not smell anything at all. I figured I did not smell it anymore because I had just gotten used to it.
